Autopilot
Updated October 23, 2026
Autopilot keeps a site growing without you choosing every keyword. It finds keywords, writes articles on a schedule, and refreshes the ones that slip, within limits you set. It is part of the Autopilot plan.
What it does
- Writes a set number of articles every few days from the site's queue.
- When the queue runs low, finds new keywords: first from your competitor gaps, then from searches related to your existing keywords.
- Saves each article as a draft for you, or publishes it if you allow that and it scores high enough.
- With Search Console connected, refreshes articles that slip.
The settings
- How often and how many
- For example, 2 articles every 3 days.
- When an article is ready
- Save as a draft for me to approve, or Publish it if it scores high enough. Articles that don't pass the quality check always wait for you in Needs review.
- Lowest SEO score to publish
- Used only when articles publish on their own. An article that passes the quality check but scores below this is saved as a draft instead of going live.
- Most articles in one day
- A cap, so a busy week never floods your site.
- Monthly spending limit
- Autopilot pauses for the rest of the month once its runs have cost this much. 0 means no limit.
- Find new keywords when fewer are waiting than
- When the queue drops below this, Autopilot looks for more.
Above the settings, Autopilot sums up in one sentence what it will do. Read it before you turn it on.
Limits that always apply
- Your plan's monthly article allowance. Autopilot stops when it is used up.
- It never writes the same keyword twice for a site.
- It never publishes an article that didn't pass the quality check.
Pause or turn it off
Turn the switch off in Autopilot. Articles already written stay where they are; nothing is deleted. If it paused itself (for example, the spending limit was reached), the page says why and when it will start again.
